Comparing Media

Although the 2020 election seems real far from now, many candidates are starting to announce and campaign to win the presidency.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is running for president in the next year.

Many media outlets have been covering what his chances are up against Donald Trump and if he is the best candidate to do so.

After news broke out on Thursday, April 25th when Joe Biden launched his campaign and announcement to the world.

In the Mercury, the newspaper did a piece with the headline "Joe Biden has the best chance to beat Trump 2020" in a 13 paragraph article in the Other Views section.

With statistics from the national polls, it shows that he has the majority of support against all of the other Democratic candidates.

The article also explained exactly in detail of what his announcement video entailed, and in the end, the editor was giving their opinion on what Joe Biden should do to win.

Business Insider, a news website made an article on what the statement and headline as "Democrats have the most faith in Joe Biden's ability to beat Donald Trump".

In this 13 paragraph, the short story explains how INSIDER got data on statistics claiming that Democrats favor Joe Biden and especially how he is very familiar in politics.

This article sources Joe Biden talking about the immigration policy that is made by Trump during the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

"The American people know, overwhelmingly that it is not right. That it is not who we are." I think the article quoted this quote because of how he feels on this very important issue.

In the ABC News video short video, talks about Joe Biden's presidency some moments from his rally to an exclusive interview with him on how he is going to "woo" voters.

Also, ABC reporters get answers from the public on why Joe Biden rather than the other politicians running for candidacy.

This video was all over the place talking about his responsibility with Anita Hill case and then Trump.

At the end of the video, ABC News advertised to watch Good Morning America tomorrow to hear more of the exclusive interview with Joe Biden and his wife.

I think this video was super short and didn't give as much detail as the other media outlets.

I would say that Business Insider gave the most statistics and evidence for how he can win but the newspaper was very strong in detail of his announcement.
